THE BIRTH OF OCCY THE VAGOOSE
Many years before I started EDGE OF THE UNIVERSE, I created a comic called DARK WORLD.
I did not get very far with it, only ten pages but it was in this comic that Occy Bacopata was first drawn. He was not a character that I conceived with much thought. He was a background character who caught my attention. I kept noticing him in the background and so very soon after his first appearance, he graduated to being a main character.
In 1999 I started a new comic called EDENTIA which featured Occy and a new character, Corgan Tremayne. The name EDENTIA was later changed to
EDGE OF THE UNIVERSE.
In Edge of the Universe it is mentioned that Occy is from Argoe.
Argoe is Dark World.
